There needs to be a way people who gave them deposit money can gather for a common cause. If nothing else, to tie them up in court so they can explain to a JUDGE why they did this. And why they are doing what is right in the eyes of the public. Please let us know if any of you have the contacts to start the ball rolling on this matter.

I think some people are filing police reports. I don't know if it will do any good or not. If the deposit is over a certain dollar amount, you might be able to get a warrant issued. I know some people have lost over thousands of dollars.
My deposit was almost $1400! I called the sheriff and they said I had to be there to file a report?? I am still checking into it and hope the first person I talked to is wrong and that I can file a report. Maybe jail would make him reconsider keeping everyones money??
Best bet is contact you CC issuer if you paid with a CC or debit ard and file a fraud case.
ATTENTION!!! I just called the bank that was used to supply the deposit for the cabin rental via debit card. The lady at the bank said that a dispute needs to be filed at their bank by my nephew since they did not get to use the cabin and then the cabin rental company owners will have a certain amount of time to respond. If they don't, then more action will be taken by the bank. The problem with some of your rentals is that your time has not arrived yet. I am really troubled by the lady who reserved two cabins for her 90 year old grandfather celebration. I cannot understand how the Vicks can be so cold. Oh, wait a minute, they put a lady on the street just a week after finding out she had cancer. That is how cold they are!!!
This dbag is in contact with the people who rented HIS condo that he OWNS. He refuses to call other people back or refund their money. I booked with this company 9 months ago and members of my family are out over $1000.

I truly believe the only way you will get your deposit money is if you take them to small claims court or if a lawyer gets involved and does a class action lawsuit.

I am a cabin owner...i really did not think I would receive any money from them. I also talked to the Tennessee Real Commission. Because of the way the law was written, they have no enforcement rights with cabin rental companies. They saw Vick at the rental company last week to investigate but he did not let them into the building. Word is that people all over town are looking for both of the Vicks. Not many sightings.

Cancellation fee is a big part of the deposit. How can they charge a cancellation fee when they did the cancelling? They need to be CANCELLED!!!!!

The houses that the Vick's have on there Real Estate site are owned by them. The Castle on the Green and one home in Holiday Hills section. Value is well over $1 million. They also own a home on Vixen Run and equity in Fontaines cabin.

How many cabins or houses do the Vick's own?
I suspect that any "pro-rata" is because Vick is attempting to charge cancellation fees even though they have closed the business and it would seem that would cancel any contracts. However, it would appear Robert is still trying to enforce the contracts through his closed business though the closed business may ultimately only be a sub-LLC or a DBA for Tree to Green Properties, LLC. Unless something surfaces, this may not be a legal issue. But whatever the case, it's a matter of professionalism and ethics or lack thereof.
The Vicks have control of Castle on the Green and Mountain Critter Lodge on Rodeo Drive. I am not sure who owns them. Robert's father, Bob Vick, owns some property or all of these properties that they are still trying to rent. Robert and Libby Vick live in the house at 759 Vixen Run. Sounds like someone is setting up for a friendly drive-by.
I talked to the Tennessee Real Estate Commission a few days ago. Be assertive...get beyond the person who answers and says "we alread know about Fontaine." I am a cabin owner and once connected to the right dept. the person put their supervisor on the phone with me. She talked to me for over 20 minutes gathering information. She said she never hears from the cabin owners and she was very interested in all the info I was able to provide. Per her request, I also sent her a copy of the letter Libby Vick sent the cabin owners. PLEASE EVEN CABIN OWNERS CONTACT THEM...THEY ARE INVESTIGATING. This is our only way to make sure they do not get away with what they have done to so many people.

When he found out I was a cabin owner and received a check from the Vicks for June rentals thru the 15, he put his manager/supervisor on the phone. It was a woman....we went back and forth so much that I really did not get her name. Sorry. But she was very interested in all the info I was able to give her. She also gave me many details about the investigation. Even when I faxed her copies of my documents she told me to fax them to Connel. But I will tell you from our conversation, they are doing their best to investigate this situation. I really did not think I was going to receive any money from the Vicks and had called a few days earlier and left a message with Connel. In the meantime, I received the check. But they still want to talk to everybody involved.
Another place to call and file a complaint is the local chamber of commerce. Maybe a call to the Mayor's office and county board. Does anyone know if there is an tourist bureau for the area? Might be another place to give a call to and voice your happiness. FYI in the stat of Illinois thief of $1000 or greater is felony fraud. So you might want to file through your own state attorney general's office besides the one in TN. So does anyone know any local attorneys in the area??

Wow...I love the cabin but that is a lot of money for two bedrooms, great room with living room, kitchen, and dining combined. It does have two bathrooms with one of them used as the utility room also. The jacuzzi is up stairs. The deck is in need of serious attention and the sliding screens are falling out. I guess the view and privacy are worth something or in this case lots of somethings. The cabin is very secluded from the other cabins as cabins go in Cobbly Knob. (It should be spelled Knob, Rob Vick did not like it when I nicknamed it CK.)

It is the water department of the area. Robert Vick is the president. It would be a way of letting them know how crooked he is.
Be sure to call Det. Hodges with Sevier Co. Sherrif's Office and try to call the investigative reporter at WATE Channel 6 in Knoxville. He has been briefly informed of the situation. Also file a complaint with TREC. These are things we can be doing while we wait to see the outcome. Also file a dispute with your bank if you have used a CC to book your rental with Fontaine.

There are actually a half dozen or so filing with the BBB presently. While you can and probably should file, the BBB is responding, as they have with me recently, that there is nothing they can do as the business appears to be closed.
People may also want to consider listing or going after Trees to Green Properties, LLC as this is the actually business that Libby Vick is listed for the owner as. Fontaine must be sub-LLCs or DBAs. At least listing both maybe a better approach.
Maybe if we list it as Fontaine Cabin Rentals and Reality. The real estate portion of the business is still open!

I went to my bank to file a dispute on my credit card regarding the deposit made on a cabin. The bank said that typically you only have up to 60 days from the charge date to file a dispute. My bank did file a report with their fraud division so we will see what happens. Also I filed a complaint with the TN Attorney General's Office - Division of Consumer Affairs.
Just yesterday the person answered the telephone at the TN Attorney General's Office told me I could not file, that it had to be done with TN real estate commision- I've done that. May I ask who you spoke with and telephone #? thanks :)
My bank also has a 60 limit on card disputes. HOWEVER... If you tell them your full story, they should be willing to try to run the dispute through anyway. Too, if you haven't yet, you should call Detective Hodges with Sevier Co. Sheriff's Office. She can then give you a case # that you can then provide with your documentation for your card dispute. It should/may help.

For credit card disputes: also include all three articles in the mt. press. Go to the bottom of the Mt. Press page and under search type in Vick. Even if the last two articles are not about you and your family, the fact the press is so involved can only help your case with your company. My packet to TREC had 26 pages and my credit card had even more...

I'm not even sure if everyone has gotten these letters. I have not seen a dime yet. I didn't get a letter either though I did talk to R. Vick a couple of days in a row. He never followed up with any email like he said; and I haven't heard from him since. I'm letting my bank, etc. handle it. They have turned it over to Fraud at this point anyway.

The Vick's are accepting calls again because they are renting Mountain Critter Lodge and Castle. Critter was full last weekend. I saw Robert Vick yesterday heading towards Gatlinburg. We should have set up a road block.

According to eye witness accounts, Robert and Libby Vick are coming and going thru Cobbly Nob to their home. Plus they are actively renting Castle on the Green and Mountain Critter Lodge. If someone wants a map to find their house or these two rentals, one only needs to ask. They have made a lot of enemies, so there are lots of people that would be glad to help you try and find them for negotiation reasons.

This is a living hell for me (trying to get my refund) no response from phone calls, emails, no response from TREC/ Sheriff's Dept. It is so hard living so far away - It makes me easy to be ignored- it makes me feel it's not being taken serious. The one thing you want control over in life is your money, what I've lost may not be a lot to some, but it is tremendous in my world. Even the news stations are not calling back- that really makes me feel like it's a nothing story- in my world it's the only story...

Robert and Libby Vick live in Cobbly Nob outside of Gatlinburg. Their residence address is 759 Vixen Run in Cobbly Nob. It is a Gatlinburg address. The security guard will give you a map of the area and indicate the location of the residence of Rob and Libby Vick. I tried to locate David's address but I could not get positive verification of being the right David Vick. His wife's name is Brittany Stephens Vick. I believe they live in Knoxville.

I agree about TripAdvisor. At first they were very helpful and then suddenly they were blanking everyones' comments. What a worthless site!!!!!!!
By the way, one of the Fontaine employees is still working for the Vicks. She is cleaning the cabins that they are still renting. Castle and Critter. Just saw her today retreating to her home northeast of Gatlinburg. I feel sorry that she has to work for the Vicks.
Trip Advisor is tired of all the negativity. Sad because how else are we to get out this information for future renters? This is going to continue thru October since many cabins had rentals thru that month.

May I ask who was the lawyer in Sevierville? I was just suggested one there today- wondering if it is the same one. I think it would be helpful if some of us used the same one. The lawyer who referred me to the one in Sevierville, also told me what to ask for. I also got information on filing with the courts, from that number from the BBB. You're right, Peggy is AWESOME!

I totally agree about TripAdvisor. What are they trying to do? Protect the Vicks. Seems like they would want those who are making trips to visit their sites to learn about places whether good or bad. Right now I would NOT trust them with any opinion that they allow to be shown on their website. Shame on them.

My parents saw the Vicks over the weekend at the castle as it has been rented on regular basis,along with critter's Lodge.
If the police had a warrant they could pick them up many day at the guard house as they enter. The only other acess is through private property owned by the Sharps.

I called a detective at the sheriff's department in my county north of Sevier County. I talked to a detective about the situation since we cannot get anyone in Sevier County to do their job. He said that this issue is a civil case. A lawyer is needed to handle the case and if the judge finds for the renter or renters the Vick will have to return the deposits plus pay court cost and lawyer fees. Now this sounds promising. Maybe Mr. Stapleton would represent the renters with the understanding his fee will come from the Vicks. I am hoping he will agree to that. I left a message with him to discuss this matter. My nephew is wreary of the ordeal but if this is possible I am sure he will want to help the other person on here for both of their causes.
What a shame. Whem Mrs. Fontaine owned this enterprise, it was always a class act.

Oh, now it's more than obvious that either Robert or Libby made that disgruntled posting on Saturday directing fault to their former employee. (without actually using her name) but let me tell you all this. I own a business, not at all related to the cabin rental business. Robert and Libby never paid their bill to me for the work I did for them, and they avoided and avoided any and all contact with me. to this day (almost 2 years later) they STILL haven't paid their bill, which they rightfully owe.
So, basically, the Vicks need to go look in their "smoking mirror" (which they aren't even smart enough to know its "smoke AND mirrors". and see who is the real cause of their problems.

I am a former employee of the Vicks. I was working for them when they closed down & they knew that were going to close down. They did not go about it the right way. I was off on the day they closed down & they didnt even have the courtesy to call me about losing my job until the following day. And then it wasnt even Libby that called, and she was the owner of the company & our boss. They had to know they were closing down before June 16th, because I received my check by mail on Thursday the 17th. (I received my check before I got the phone call.) We also had cabins owners tell us that they were taking their cabins off our rental programs & we were told to continue to take reservations no matter what the owner said. So basically they continued to take money for the reservations on our 3 nicest houses, which were our most rented houses, even though the home owners told us not to. I just wanted everyone to know how the Vicks truely are, & I'm just afraid that people will not receive their money back. I'm not a disgruntled employee, I am just a disapointed employee
Evidently, Robert responds to TREC complaints in a somewhat timely fashion, more so than inquiries as to his business dealings, etc. I suspect it's because TREC has control over his real estate license and that's really all he cares about at this point.

Here is my entire post- Oops… big deal… I made some grammatical errors in my earlier post. I was livid when I read the despicable, foolish rubbish on this site. I stated the truth and that is all that is important. Here are a few more facts: I am not Robert or Libby Vick nor am related to The Vicks. I have no desire to ask Doug Sharp anything or listen to what “he thinks he knows!" I am not a fan of “a little birdie told me BS." Hard core, fact based, evidence will always triumph over BS. And fact based evidence is all that I am interested in pursuing. I will not repeat the vile rumors about The Sharps, their company or anyone else. I was stating that, if you did your homework you would know, the same type of lies involving bankruptcy, character, etc., were being told, not long ago, about The Sharps and their company. There are very few “Good Guys" left in this business and the Vicks are some of the best. Why did they not share the truth with the newspaper- what in the world would their loss have to do with us. I'm sorry if they have illness or death around them, but really why does that mean strangers should give them money and have sympathy for them when they won't explain themselves?????????????????? File your complaints with TREC. Vick will respond because it's his real estate license in jeopardy. Seems that is the only thing he responds to. File a CC dispute with your bank too. Many of us are or were past the cut-off time to file but due to the circumstances, that even my bank acknowledged, the banks may be more willing to go ahead and let your file your dispute. I have gotten my money back and so have a couple of other people I know. The Vicks evidently didn't even respond to my bank once I launched the dispute. At any rate, do not allow yourselves to be total Vicktoms. Take action on your own accord if you have not yet. File a complaint with the TREC. Be detailed and accurate. And file a CC dispute with your bank.
Ok, I cannot sit back and read these posts and not address some of the issues brought up. I had my cabin with Cobbly Nob for years and then with Fontaine Cabin Rentals. When Doug took over Cobbly Nob my cabin rentals dropped dramatically. I had friends call their office to recommend a cabin (describing mine perfectly) to rent. They always recommended the same cabins over and over. My cabin is a new cabin that is very well maintained, but they never mentioned mine. I found out the cabins they were pushing belonged to Cobbly Nob or people tied to them. After moving to Fontaine, I found out the same thing was occurring. I would go on their website and the cabins that were renting were older and out dated while mine stayed empty. I wonder who those belonged to? Yes, you guessed it. I was very unhappy with Fontaine just like I was with Cobbly Nob. Everytime there was a storm, I was charged 10.00 for someone from Fontaine to drive up the mountain and check for storm damage. Just imagine, with 30 cabins, you can make 300.00 everytime there is a heavy rain. (and in Gatlinburg that is quite often) I could go on and on but I think you understand what I mean. I was not the only cabin owner who was unhappy with them. These are not rumors, but true statements. I have not heard from any person who rented from Fontaine that received their money back.....so you can take up for these companies and people all you want, but many of us know the truth.

It is great to hear the truth from an owner who has fought two of the (QUOTE) GOOD GUYS. I know for a fact that the storm drive-by happened. Now, refute that name caller!!!!!!! That is one of the reasons that Mrs. Fontaine (previous owner of Fontaine Cabin Rentals who sold the business to the VICKS) removed her cabins from the Vicks and is renting on her own. She is actually making money renting NOW!! These are facts, not rumors.
Posting that is two posts up from this one is 100% accurate. I have been involved with the mountain since 1986. I have owned up to 5 houses at one time and can assure you, I know all parties. The Sharps are guilty of exactly what has been mentioned, check the Tax roll and you will see how many personal houses they own. The Fontaines started out with good intentions but got caught up in the greed and the falling economy. The actions they took were illegal and and intentional. I personally know the good,bad and ugly of this nice peaceful part of paradise.

I got a call a few weeks ago from the local DA that I had left a message for. He said there was nothing he could do unless charges were brought against the Vick's. I explained my situation to him and he said he would do some research and talk to the detective to find out why they were unable to locate the Vick's. I am sure that was another waste of time! On a side note I noticed on Libby Self Vick's Facebook page she has numerous posts about being a christian and one that said "With God, ALL things are possible!! " Amazing how many BAD people profess to be christians! Libby and Robert, you have another Page in your book to answer to!

We are previous cabin owners who had their cabins managed by Fontaine's over the years. Thank goodness we sold our last cabin about 4 years ago to use the money for the kids college. I truly feel for the owners and renters that either have no one to manage their cabin or who have rented a cabin, paid a deposit and are now out a good chunk of cash. This sucks! We've rented from Fonatine's many times over the years. I want to clarify that the Vicks bought the rental business from Annie Fontaine about 6 years ago. Annie and her team were great to rent from. Always positive, honest and willing to help. As owners we were sorry to see her sell the business because she was such a good person. We didn't have any bad dealings with the Vicks while we were owners, but I hate to see Annie's name tarnished because two people decided to NOT do the right thing. I hope justice comes to them.....soon!
Heard from a little birdie at the courthouse today that someone sued the Vicks yesterday. They did not show up and neither did their lawyer. They've hid their money pretty well. Vick started moving ownership of their properties last Jan. Preparing for what he did in June I guess...

Where did you get the 400,000 dollar number? I sure hope it is not that much. They don't deserve anything much less that kind of wealth. I am so let down by the justice department of Sevier County. Yes, what JUSTICE!!!
It has now been two billing cycles for us and the Vicks did not dispute the reversal of charges to our credit card. Their time to dispute it is up and we are now whole again, other than all the worry and angst they caused. Never give money to any of these rental agencies except through a credit card.
By the way, very nice house they have there in Cobbly Nob on Vixen Run. Yes, of course, we drove by.

I am so glad people replied to the "Quit Hating on Libby and Robby". Wow,,,what prompted that person to react in such a way. Thanks for the update. The problem with a civil action is the Vicks have hid their monies and changed names of property ownership. So even if your awarded a "win" in court against the cabin company, they will never pay you back. So you'd also have lost lawyer and court fees on top of what the Vicks stole. I'm afraid they will be getting off scott-free. He was smart with all his financial moves months before closing the doors- if only he had used those smarts for something constructive...
Your gun law is odd. So I guess you better make sure you don't have any robbers on your land before arming yourself against a robber? What is happening to our country, I know there are many more- but I remember the one case where a robber got stuck in a vent overnight and sued (and won) the owner of the store.

Interesting that the DA said all he does is handle things after charges have been brought. He can pressure the local PD to bring charges but seems no one around there has any desire to see any justice served!

for those of you that are interested about the 90 yr old lady she actually stayed at Cobbly Nob Rentals. They cut her a great deal due to the situation. They have told everyone about their stay with Cobbly Nob Rentals. I checked out their website the cabin they stayed in was one called Campbell's Station. That was a NICE cabin. I am hoping to stay their soon myself.

I have heard that the Vicks are in California. So I don't know what good a class action suit would do. Their house is sitting vacant and no ones what will be the future of it. Castle and Critter I believe belongs to Rob's father.
Yeah~ everyone has moved on and taken their losses. They are in CA. And everything to do with Fontaines' was in an LLC- The only property that was also in that same name has been foreclosed on ( the Fontaine office). You can't get a dime from them. Robert hid everything very well. Starting last Jan. he started putting homes in other names. They got away with it- sad but true. The only hope is the district attorney, but if more people don't call, that too will be swept under the rug. And maybe TREC will do something?

2 days after the posting that they were home, they disappeared again. 3 cars one day gone the next.
I would like to be the first to say that I am impressed with "grace under pressure" that The Vicks have displaced. It truly, truly speaks volumes of their character. They have suffered the loss of their business, under gone health issues, suffered an onslaughtered of false accusations fueled by rumour mongers. And yet, have not engaged in the name calling nor have lost their diginity by stooping the level of some people on this site. I admire the courage they have exibited during this horrific ordeal. My family and friends will always have fond memories of our time spent with Fontaine Cabin Rentals and The Vicks.

Are you kidding me? There are people who have lost hundreds of dollars to the Vicks since they were to immature to handle their business in a professional manner.
If they were of the character you mentioned they would have refunded everyone's deposit money promptly. I know of one such victim who is out $761.48.

All of my family and friends have also been staying at Fontaine Cabin Rentals for the last 4 years. We too are sorry to hear that the business closed and the lies swirling around the Vicks. We had stayed with the other cabin companies in that area and where so pleased when we found Fontaine's. They were the best and we will all miss them. Some of the comments on this site are clearly written by members of the competition and we will not be booking our vacations with any of them. Been there done that. I don't know the full circumstances of the closing but I do know that usually it is the good people that get crucified. Best of luck always to the Vicks
We had stayed with Fontaine Cabins for much longer than four years, over 10. I'd been renting from Fontaines prior to the Vicks ownership. I've sent 4 people from my state to them and told countless others to stay with them. In fact I found out this happened because a co-worker went to reserve for the first time, upon my recommendation, with them and told me what the website stated. I live in Michigan and do not own a cabin there, much less a cabin company. For the past years we stayed in Heart's Delight- wish I owned that cabin! And others prior to that one. Perhaps you think I'm not serious in my offer to send you all of my paperwork- I am. You don't want to know the truth do you? So all of us who lost money are not "good people"~ only those who hold my $2,700 are good people. I guess you know me and somehow feel I must had had this coming to me. How is it possible that you feel renting from them for four years has given you insight to their moral compass? They never returned a telephone call or email- or responded to my lawyer-no matter what is happening how is that o.k.? And your going to boycott the cabin companies that GAVE my family a place to stay when we would not have been able to go on vacation. Well, you better boycott all cabin companies then- because I can assure you that almost everyone of them offered us a free cabin. Including the ones you most likely stay with. I just accepted the first two offers that came that fit our needs. Mr. Voit (editor of the Mt. Press) and myself both received many, many offers after the newspaper article ran. Why do you only wish best of luck to the Vicks? I was a loyal customer for years, gave them new business and a telephone call would have been nice. You either did not have a reservation for this time and did not lose money or you have a personal relationship where he refunded your money to you and your so grateful to him for choosing you out of hundreds of us you defend his actions toward others. It really does not matter why they closed, a telephone call is not a high expectation- in fact if I had not sent my friend to their website- I would have been one of the ones who showed up to a note on the door. We had our reservation and would have never checked the site, because of having been there so many times before- we could drive there with our eyes closed. Your statement:"I do know that usually it is the good people that get crucified" ~ don't feel bad for him, he's gotten away with it. He gets to keep our money, just as you wish for him~ Thanks. Offer still stands if you want to leave your telephone number of address. Of course you may not want to take your head out of the sand long enough to read the court documents and letters... but will send if you change your mind. Is it so crazy to believe that maybe a business owner did do something wrong- if you truly believe I'm making all of this up- then let me send the paperwork to you.
I only come on here now and again to see if anyone has any advice on how to get my money back or to see if anyone has had any success with them or gotten a check from the Vicks as one letter in June stated we would get- it is so upsetting to read people defend them. It actually really hurts. We are not just one single cabin renter angry at a company. Last year when my husband and I were about to walk into the office, a couple with a baby came out and were so angry and wanted their money back- something about the cabin not being safe for their child. The husband was so angry at Fontaines I was a little scared. They were not getting a refund. We listened, but still checked in and made reservations for 2010 before we left- when one person is angry you wonder, but when it's hundreds with the same issue- come on! Don't give those words another thought everyone! As we all know from checking in over the years, we did not even know the Vicks. My wife and I did not even know when Anne Fontaine changed into Robert Vick. In all those years, we were never greeted by Robert or Libby Vick- let alone thanked for our repeat business to their company. Get your key from an check in lady and head to your cabin. We kept coming back because we loved two cabins on their rental program-not because we had fond memories of time spent with the Vicks. If that person was a renter and "spent time" with the Vicks they were also friends. Which explains the reason they think what they did was somehow justified. Think of it this way, think of what they stole from us without even a telephone call- What kind of people are they right? So just think of the lies they tell their friends and family to make it appear that they are the ones who have been wronged. There are a lot of a**holes in the world, who wants to believe your own family or friends fall into that class. If you've been to TN lately, you know what has happened to their reputation- and that is with people who have know them for years! Feel sorry for them(the posters defending the Vicks), they are being taken too- not financially but emotionally. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I just called TREC (Connel House) 615-253-1177 to ask for an update on the situation. Left a message.
They sleep with entitlement filled hearts and smiles on their faces...
Again, some people taking up for the Vicks who know nothing about what they did to so many people. I am a cabin owner who was with Fontaine cabin rental. I NEVER MET THE VICKS. I think they were too busy to talk to the "little people" who they took rental income from. I talked to another cabin owner (with Fontaine) and their 3 cabins were with Fontaine for over 3 years and they had never met Libby Vick. My only contact was the reps who answered the phone in the office. I did not lose any money but so many renters lost their advance deposits they paid to the Vicks. I also sent many documents to TREC regarding the Vicks when they closed the doors. How in the world can anybody say "we" are all making this up and starting rumors? I am so ashamed that I was ever tied to this rental company and Libby Vick. I feel bad for everyone who has lost their money by going with a company that was reputable MANY MANY years ago when the Fontaines owned it.

I think Vick receives $100.00 a week and Health Insurance for this position.
I went to their website and Robert "the AS*" Vick is not listed as one on their team. I guess they have no place for a despicable waste of human flesh who is wasting the EARTH's valuable oxygen.
Wow..that was good!!! If Robert is the AS*, then his wife must be the HOLE!!! Ha, ha, ha!! Now I am sure there will be someone out there who will be mad about this and say how great they are and don't deserve to be treated this way. RETURN EVERYONE'S MONEY!!!! (and we all will shut up, we don't care about them, just the refunds)
Brad Ivens (Eagles Ridge) and Chuck McCarter (Oakhaven) are the ones who had the Tennessee law changed in 2003 that allowed rental companies to blow away their escrow accounts! It makes it appear that they spent all their escrow money and couldn't withstand an audit - so, they went to Nashville and 'took are of it'. It's now 2011 and one could say this experiment is not working and that TREC needs to put the law back the way it was and FIX THIS!
I wonder if changing the law back is being considered?

After selling Critters Lodge in Cobbly Nob for about $400,000 +, the Vicks are now getting back in the Rental Business out of Pigeon Forge.
They have just re listed 3 of the 4 remaining properties in Cobbly Nob. A house on Castle along with a lot and 2 Lots on Ridgeline.
